My SassSea Story

Shannon Davis - Creator and Designer

At the age of 50, I decided to take a huge leap.  I retired from years of being in education and followed a life-long dream to move to the North Carolina coast. Cool fact: I was born in North Carolina and have never lived anywhere else.   I love to travel and always visit beaches to treasure hunt.

For many years, I have enjoyed shopping at antique and secondhand stores, up-cycling old items into something beautiful, and finding treasures on the beach; SassSea Designs developed out of a combination of these passions.  I've collected shells, sharks teeth, driftwood, sea glass, and sea pebbles since I was a little girl.  I love up-cycling secondhand items to incorporate in my designs.  For instance, many of the frames I use are unique.  All of my SassSea Designs are original, handmade and one-of-a-kind.
